Specs
Short films only.
Films can be as short as 1 minute to a maximum of 17 minutes long. We welcome all storytellers. Even if you have to use your phone to shoot and edit your story, we welcome you.
- 3840x2160 or 1920x1080
- Audio Sample 48 kHz
- Video Bit Rate, at least 5000 kbps
- NTSC - 24 or 30 f/ps
- .mp4 container
- Apple ProRes 422/ H.264 or codec of similar quality
- All files submitted must be within broadcast safe specs.
Accepted films will also need to provide a thumbnail image, one-sheet and downloadable links or files for all available trailers.
Shamokin Film Festival reserves the right to change any rules or scheduling. Venue is subject to change. All accepted entries will be notified of any changes.
Rules & Terms
Any authorized representative of the project being submitted must agree via digital signature that the film being submitted does not break any laws, and that all necessary licenses, royalties, release forms have been obtained.
By submitting to the Shamokin Film Festival you are granting SFF the right to screen any submitted Film during the scheduled Festival dates. You are also granting SFF permission to use footage, stills and/or titles, and information from or relating to the Film for promotional purposes.
Submitted films must have been created within the last 3 years.
